Terms of Service
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This is an English translation of our German Allgemeine Geschäftsbedingungen, provided for convenience. In case of any discrepancy, the German version prevails.
1. Scope and provider
These terms govern the use of the web application revoiced.ai (“Revoiced”) and all contracts for digital content concluded through Revoiced. The provider is:
Yannick Kupferschmidt (sole proprietorship)Gräfstraße 45
60486 Frankfurt am Main, Germany
Email: [email protected]
The service is offered exclusively to consumers within the meaning of § 13 of the German Civil Code (BGB).
2. Description of the service
Based on a photo of an artwork taken by the user, Revoiced generates a short, AI-generated audio narration from the perspective of the artist (the “narration”). Narrations are digital content within the meaning of § 327(2) BGB.
Narrations are fictional, interpretive works. They draw on historical context, but they are not genuine recordings, quotes or statements by the people portrayed, and they make no claim to scholarly or factual accuracy.
3. Free use
Two narrations per device can be generated and listened to free of charge. The free allowance is tied to the device via a strictly necessary cookie. There is no entitlement to the free allowance; it may be adjusted or discontinued at any time.
4. Day pass
- The day pass entitles you to generate and play an unlimited number of narrations for 24 hours from the time of purchase.
- The day pass is tied to the email address provided at purchase and is not transferable.
- The day pass can be used on further devices by requesting a sign-in link (“magic link”) via the email address on file.
5. Conclusion of contract
The presentation of the day pass on revoiced.ai does not constitute a binding offer. By completing the payment process in the checkout of our payment provider Stripe (clicking the final pay button), the user makes a binding offer; the contract is concluded when the purchase is confirmed (order confirmation by email, or activation of the day pass). The contract language is German.
6. Prices and payment
The day pass costs EUR 2.99. Pursuant to § 19 of the German VAT Act (UStG), no VAT is charged or shown. Payment is processed by the payment provider Stripe using the payment methods offered there. The price is due upon conclusion of the contract.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers have a statutory right of withdrawal. Details are set out in our withdrawal policy. For contracts on the supply of digital content, the right of withdrawal expires under the conditions of § 356(5) BGB once performance of the contract has begun after the user has expressly consented and confirmed their knowledge that the right of withdrawal thereby expires.
8. Delivery, availability and warranty
Generating a narration usually takes less than a minute; individual requests may take longer or fail depending on the load on the AI services used. If generation fails or an artwork is evidently misidentified, the consumed allowance is credited back when using the free tier.
The statutory rights in respect of defects for digital content apply (§§ 327 et seq. BGB). The editorial character of a narration (style, tone, interpretive statements) does not constitute a defect, provided the narration was generated for the artwork photographed.
9. Rights of use
Generated narrations may be used for private, non-commercial purposes only. Public performance, reproduction or distribution outside the sharing feature provided by Revoiced is not permitted.
10. Liability
We are liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, for damage resulting from injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. In the case of slightly negligent breach of material contractual obligations (obligations whose fulfilment is essential to the proper performance of the contract and on whose observance you may rely), liability is limited to the foreseeable damage typical for this type of contract. Liability is otherwise excluded.
11. Final provisions
The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. Mandatory consumer protection provisions of the country in which the user has their habitual residence remain unaffected.
